Your computer must be equipped with a soundcard; you also
need speakers or headphones, and an Internet connection with
enough capacity (see below for what is enough).

80 now, which means that you can listen to our streams

There are several stream types available. Here are
some characteristics for each one of them:

MP3: These links will open
the default player associated with the M3U or
PLS extensions for the MP3 format. Use the link
that works best for you. Most players handle this format,
including Winamp, iTunes, XMMS, Foobar2000
and many others. (If your default mp3 player is Realplayer or
Windows Media Player, that player will open the stream.)

Realplayer: This link will
open the default player associated with the RAM
extension. This is normally Realplayer, but could be something else,
such as Media Player Classic. (Looks like an old version
of Windows Media Player, but really it's got nothing to do
with it.)

you should open Winamp, open the Preferences dialog (CTRL+P),
go to File Types and deselect the ASF and ASX types.

Foobar2000 is also reported to correctly play
AAC+ streams.

AAC+ (asx): This link will
open the default player associated with the ASX
extension for the AAC+ format. This works with Windows Media
Player (WMP) with the AAC+ plugin from Orban.

AAC+ is a new format for streaming which gives excellent
results even for lower bandwidth. As a rule of thumb, you
only need half the bandwidth of an MP3 stream, to get the
same quality on an AAC+ stream.

ancho de banda bajo. Como regla, sólo se necesita la mitad

The number on the line indicates the bandwidth of the
stream:

128K: means a stream of 128
kilobits per second (kbps). To use this, you need a broadband
connection of at least 160 kbps, probably.

probablemente.

24K: means a stream of 24
kilobits per second (kbps). To use this, you might get away
with a connection of 28-32 kbps (dialup).

telefónica).

Interpret other numbers accordingly.

Just click the "Listen here!" link to return to the main
page. If there are streams, links will appear right below the
Pirata logo. Click a link and your player will start to
download and play the music stream.

If you don't see anything there, then the streaming servers
probably are down.
